The pipeline for Artemovskaya CHP-2 will allow to gasify site

The new pipeline to ensure Artemovskaya CHP -2 gas will be built in Primorye, it will gasify areas, create jobs and ensure the development of the region, told reporters the Governor Oleg Kozhemyako.

Earlier, the presidential envoy to the far Eastern Federal district Yuri Trutnev said that he had instructed the Ministry of energy during the week to provide proposals for funding to redesign Artemovskaya CHPP-2 to gas. New Artemovskaya CHP-2 will replace the running since 1936. Electric power Artemovskaya CHP-2 plant will be 420 MW, thermal capacity – 483 Gcal/h. it was Planned that as fuel the new plant will use coal from local deposits but Trutnev said that tasked to redesign it to gas. Commissioning Artemovskaya CHPP-2 is scheduled for 2026.

It was noted that the new plant is planned to allocate additional volumes of gas. Trutnev said on Friday on receiving a letter from Gazprom that the necessary volumes of gas will be issued. According to him, designing from coal to gas will take a year, RusHydro will begin this work immediately.

He added that reducing the cost of construction costs of CHP.
