Trutnev urged the energy Ministry to strengthen the work with Gazprom on far East

Deputy Prime Minister and presidential envoy to FEFD Yuri Trutnev urged the energy Ministry to intensify work with "Gazprom" on gasification of the Far East.

According to him, at the very beginning of the development of the Far East in conversation with the energy company noted that the main goal is to provide consumers with energy.

"Please, the Ministry of energy, provide consumers with electricity, gas, that it does not harm the timing of implementation of investment projects", - he added.

Earlier, Trutnev announced that he had instructed the energy Ministry during the week to provide proposals for funding to redesign Artemovskaya CHPP-2 to gas. New Artemovskaya CHP-2 will replace working since 1936 Artemovskaya CHP. Electric power Artemovskaya CHP-2 plant will be 420 MW, thermal capacity – 483 Gcal/h. it was Planned that as fuel the new plant will use coal from local deposits but Trutnev said that tasked to redesign it to gas. Commissioning Artemovskaya CHPP-2 is scheduled for 2026.
