The foreign Ministry commented on the statement of London, on the intervention of Russia in election
Moscow considers the vague and conflicting statements of London about the alleged intervention of Russia in the British parliamentary elections in 2019, no proof of this, said on Thursday the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
The British foreign Secretary Dominic Raab in a written statement to Parliament says that Russia "almost certainly" tried to intervene in the British elections of 2019, on this fact opened a criminal investigation.
As the diplomat noted, "on the one hand, there is no evidence, on the other hand, refers to possible retaliatory measures."
"Is mutually exclusive. The impression is that starts another round of tactics "highly likely". But I've seen the original. Apparently, after analyzing the experience of previous years, the British government came to the correct conclusion that the term "highly likely" no longer makes sense. Therefore, they used another term," - said Zakharov.
