The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Hungary have agreed on information exchange

The foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan and Hungary signed a Memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of diplomatic training and the exchange of information and documentation, said on Thursday the press service of the Uzbek foreign Ministry.

According to the press service, on Thursday, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Minister of foreign economic relations and foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siyyarto, who arrived in Tashkent with a working visit.

In the course of negotiations the parties paid special attention to the issues of implementation of agreements reached during bilateral meetings of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban in the framework of the meeting of the cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States in October 2019 in Baku.

The foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Hungary have confirmed the presence of a huge potential for further expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation, and discussed mechanisms to increase the volume of bilateral trade, said the Agency. They also stressed the interest in developing relations in cultural-humanitarian sphere, in particular the establishment of ties between higher educational institutions of the two countries.

The Ministers reviewed the schedule of upcoming events at various levels, noted the need to conduct the next round of Ministerial consultations for a detailed study of the agenda and organizational aspects of bilateral relations, added the foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.
