Pushkov criticized Gorbachev for "geopolitical capitulation"
Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev allowed a United Germany to join NATO, despite the ability to claim neutral status of the country, said the head of the Federation Council Commission on information policy and interaction with mass media Alexei Pushkov in his telegram channel.
He commented on the publication on Twitter the official representative of the German government Steffen Seibert, who said 30 years ago, July 15, during the meeting with the leadership of Germany in Arkhyz Gorbachev gave his consent to membership of United Germany in NATO.
