The US imposed visa restrictions for the employees of Chinese companies
The US imposed visa restrictions for the employees of Chinese IT companies for "material support to regimes that violate human rights", said Secretary of state Mike Pompeo.
According to U.S. law, immigration and citizenship, the alien is prohibited entry into the country, if the Secretary has reason to believe that the presence of the visitor in the United States "would have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences."
According to Pompeo, the sanctions affect including Huawei, some employees who "provide material support to the regime of the Communist party of China."
Pompeo, however, urged China to reconsider the decision to impose sanctions against the American company Lockheed Martin for the supply of weapons to Taiwan.
The U.S. state Department has approved the possible sale to Taiwan of equipment to upgrade Patriot systems for a total amount of 620 million dollars. The main contractor was involved in the transaction Lockheed Martin.
Lockheed Martin is the American military-industrial Corporation, specializing in the field of aviation, aerospace engineering, shipbuilding, automation of postal services and airport infrastructure and logistics.
