The MTA removed the Banksy rat out of the carriage on the London underground
. The operator of the London public transport company Transport for London (TFL) removed the new "coronavirus" Banksy graffiti from a train ring line, reports The Independent.
The artist posted on his instagram video, which draws in the subway spray-painted stencils of his famous rats. They unsuccessfully try to mask, sneeze and use sanitizer for other purposes.
In TFL clarified that all the works of Banksy have been removed from the car a few days ago, as the company struggles with graffitti in the subway, and invited the artist to recreate the rats in a more "suitable place".
"We welcome the idea that we need to encourage passengers to wear masks, although most doing it, but in this case, the drawings were erased, as we are forced to follow the rules," explained a company representative.
