Italy returned to France stolen the work of Banksy
Italian authorities returned to France the work of street artist Banksy, stolen by unknown with one of the back doors of the concert hall of the Paris "Bataclan".
The work of Banksy in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack on 13 November 2015 stolen in January 2019. She was found by the carabinieri in June at a farm house in the Italian region of Abruzzo.
The ceremony of transfer of the drawing took place at the French Embassy in Rome.
"This work has a high artistic value, she witnessed the slaughter, but through this emergency door saved a lot of people. In addition, it demonstrates a brilliant collaboration between France and Italy," said French Ambassador Christian Mass, quoted by the newspaper la Repubblica.
Illustration depicting the silhouette of a grieving girl appeared on the door of the "Bataclan" in the summer of 2018. Then photo picture Banksy posted on his Instagram.
After the discovery of the carabinieri reported that graffiti remained intact. According to recreated the picture of the incident, unknown persons cut a fragment of the door "Bataclan" with the help of the Bulgarians, and then fled in the truck.
