The Polish foreign Ministry stated desire to improve relations with Russia

Poland wants to improve relations with Russia, but the change of the Ambassador is not affected, said the Minister of foreign Affairs of Poland Jacek Czaputowicz at a press conference on Tuesday in Warsaw.

Earlier it became known that the Polish Ambassador Wlodzimierz Marciniak, will soon complete his diplomatic mission in Moscow.

Czaputowicz did not give the name of the new Ambassador. "I know the name, but I will not inform. The name will soon appear," he said.

"I would not link our Polish-Russian relations with the names of the ambassadors, although they perform a very important function," the Minister added.

Czaputowicz noted that "we want to improve relations with Russia, we want conversation on this topic, we want dialogue." "We have not yet praised the statements of the representatives of the Russian authorities regarding the historical policy," he added.

"I would like a broad perspective to see an improvement in Polish-Russian relations. Especially in light of the future presidency of Poland in the OSCE", - concluded the Minister.
