The speaker of Armenian Parliament addressed foreign colleagues

Chairman of the National Assembly (Parliament) of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan turned to the heads of international parliamentary bodies and parliaments of the CSTO in connection with the aggravation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, said on Monday the parliamentary press service.

"Mirzoyan sent a letter to the heads of chambers of parliaments of the countries-CSTO members, the presidents of the European Parliament David Sassòli, the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Hendrik Dams and the President of the OSCE PA Giorgi Tsereteli," - said in a statement posted on the legislature's website.

According to the press service, Mirzoyan presented "the steps taken by the Azerbaijani armed forces provocative actions in the direction of the North-Eastern border of Armenia, urging to condemn them."

"Such action is an unacceptable violation of fundamental principles of international law and threaten the stability of the entire region", - quoted the press service of the word Mirzoyan.
