In Parliament, demanded to create the Commission against Poroshenko
The party of "European solidarity" the former President of Petro Poroshenko in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine requires to create a parliamentary temporary investigative Commission regarding the "fraud cases" against party leader and former head of state, said the co-Chairman of the faction, MP Irina Gerashchenko.
Earlier it was excited a number of criminal cases connected with Poroshenko. According to the public Prosecutor Irina Venediktova, 17 cases, involving the former head of state, started her predecessor Ruslan riaboshapka, four more were excited by it. On Friday, Poroshenko lawyer Igor Golovan, said that the attorney General's office of Ukraine has opened four cases against his client by the statements of the former co-owner of PrivatBank Igor Kolomoisky concerning the activities of the Bank.
"European solidarity requires the creation of the temporary investigative Commission regarding the fraud cases against the leader of the opposition, the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and pressure on the state Bureau of investigation and other law enforcement agencies," - said Gerashchenko during a meeting of the conciliatory Council of parliamentary factions on Monday.
The head of group of investigators in cases involving Poroshenko, Oleg Koretsky said earlier that, in his opinion, in some cases against Poroshenko is not a crime and should be closed. The investigator also said he was ready to testify about the pressure on the investigation from the management of the state Bureau of investigation in cases involving Poroshenko, if the case is filed. In the RRT words Koretsky denied and called them politically motivated. The Ministry also added that the investigator was planning to retire, as he was caught in a "leak" of official information. Koretsky said that it has filed a lawsuit against the State Bureau of investigation because of the warning of his dismissal from the Department.
