Malaysia has arrested nearly two thousand border crossers
Malaysian law enforcement officers arrested in the period from 1 may to 12 July almost 2,000 violators of the country's borders, and people smugglers, said Monday at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur senior Minister for security Affairs Malaysia Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

"Continuing the ongoing efforts of the authorities, including the police, the law Enforcement Agency of Malaysia, the sea and the border control Agency, guarantee that any attempt of illegal smuggling of people in Malaysia are suppressed, especially in the period of the pandemic COVID-19," said Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
