Foreign Minister of Armenia discussed with the head of the CSTO in the conflict with Azerbaijan
Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan discussed on Monday the situation on the border with Azerbaijan, Secretary General of the Organization of the collective security Treaty Stanislav Zasem, said press Secretary of Armenian foreign Minister Anna Naghdalyan.
On Sunday, the clash happened on the border in Tovuz region of Azerbaijan with Armenia's Tavush region of Armenia. "Mnatsakanyan held a July 13 telephone interview with Zasem... foreign Minister gave the Secretary General of the CSTO, information about violations of the July 12 cease-fire of the Azerbaijani armed forces with artillery in the direction of Tavush region of Armenia, the resumption of these actions on 13 July, and on the consequences of further deterioration of the situation", - wrote in Facebook Naghdalyan.
According to her, Mnatsakanyan stressed the inadmissibility of such actions against member countries of the CSTO. "Constant communication with the Secretary General of the CSTO, work is continuing within the Organization," said the spokesman.
The CSTO includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
