In tel Aviv after riots in protest detained 19 people

About 20 people were detained during the riots that broke out after a protest in tel Aviv, told RIA Novosti the representative of the Israel police Michael Zingerman.

On Saturday evening the residents of tel Aviv, mostly self-employed, came to the square, Yitzhak Rabin, in protest against actions of the authorities during a pandemic coronavirus.

"Police arrested 19 people during the riots," said Zingerman, noting that the demonstration was attended by several thousand people.

As the press service of the police, several dozen protesters blocked the streets, attacked the guards, sprayed tear gas and threw them in the bottle. Three policemen were slightly injured.
