SBU stopped the illegal extraction of oil under the Ivano-Frankivsk

The security service of Ukraine stopped the illegal extraction of oil from wells in the state of Ivano-Frankivsk region: the attackers managed to extract the "black gold" more than 37 thousand dollars and sold the raw material to refineries on the East of the country, reported the press service of the Ministry.

"The operatives of the intelligence agencies found that joint venture with foreign investments without lawful permission and without paying appropriate fees established oil production from the well state Fund in Dolinsky district of Ivano-Frankivsk region. Dealers managed to produce oil by more than 1 million hryvnia (more than 37 thousand dollars - ed.) at market prices and illegally implement it to refineries in the East of Ukraine. For the legalization of raw materials merchants documents were issued the transaction under the guise of legitimate business operations", - noted on the website.

According to preliminary investigation, the entrepreneurs received access to the production with the assistance of officials of one of state institutions of Ivano-Frankivsk, the balance of which with the research objective was well. According to operative data, in the future, the merchants were planning to start the illegal extraction at other wells.

During the searches police seized 40 tons of oil, documents, drafts, records, printing, computer hardware, mobile phones and cash, probably derived from illegal activities. To assess the environmental damage from land pollution with spilled oil outside experts.
