In Belgrade, protesters are trying to provoke the police

A group of demonstrators trying to cause an incident in front of the Serbian Parliament in downtown Belgrade during anti-government demonstrations, reports the correspondent of RIA Novosti.

In the police cordon, put up around the building flew stones and pyrotechnics, but these actions have not yet acquired a mass character. The police do not respond and remain engaged position.

According to the Ministry, one 32-year-old man was stabbed in the right leg after an altercation with another protester. The assailant, a man born in 1973, was detained.

As stated by the Minister of internal Affairs Nebojsa Stefanovic in an interview with local TV channel Prva, the demonstrators smashed Windows in the Parliament building, the camera and equipment. However, these injuries are invisible.

In Belgrade on Friday, the fourth night in a row, there are mass anti-government protests. The protesters are demanding, in particular, the President's resignation and protest against government plans to toughen measures against the spread of coronavirus.
