The head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Germany Heiko Maas and German Finance Minister Olaf Scholz said no to the invitation to participate in the meeting of the G7 on July 29 in Washington, according to the publication Spiegel, citing sources from the governmental circles of Germany and the United States.

According to Spiegel, the Meuse, and Scholz refused full-time Ministerial meeting of the G7 in Washington, but made it clear that Germany is ready to send Deputy Ministers. In addition, the newspaper writes, apparently, the authorities of other countries "sevens" also refused to meet at the Ministerial level.

At the same time, according to sources, the US government did not even consider the correspondence a meeting in an online format as an alternative and earlier this week canceled the meeting.
