Moscow denied reports about the alleged involvement of the Chechen authorities to the murder of a Chechen blogger near Vienna, such speculation is irrelevant and only hinder objective investigation, said the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

"Currently, we are investigating the circumstances of the incident, including clarification of the citizenship of the killed and detained. Russian Embassy in Austria actively cooperates with the competent bodies of this state," Zakharova said at the briefing.
