Authorities said a decree appointing ACTING head of the Khabarovsk Krai fake

The decree about appointment as the acting Governor of Khabarovsk territory Anatoly Latukhina instead of Sergey Furgala, who was detained Thursday on suspicion of murder, is a fake, told journalists in a press-service of the regional government.

On Thursday, social networks were a decree of 9 July, allegedly signed by the President, on the appointment of the acting Governor of the region Anatoly Borisovich Latukhina.

He noted, however, that the person with such surname and a name works in one of the departments of the government of the province.

Furgal was arrested on Thursday and sent to Moscow, according to SK the Russian Federation in connection with the investigation megapikselnogo case against the gang involved in the Commission of several serious crimes against businessmen in 2004-2005 in the Khabarovsk territory and Amur region.

The candidate from LDPR Furgal became the head of the Khabarovsk territory in 2018, gaining the second round of the election almost 70% of the vote, beating the incumbent Governor of United Russia Vyacheslav Shport. Before that Furgal was the Deputy of the state Duma of the fifth, sixth and seventh convocations.
