Press Secretary of the Yabloko announced his arrest

Press Secretary of the party "Yabloko" Igor Yakovlev said that he was detained near the building of FSB in Moscow during single picket in support of the adviser of the head of "Roskosmos" Ivan Safronov.

We will remind, the Chairman of Yabloko Nikolai Rybakov called the Safronov arrest for alleged treason attack on freedom of speech," wrote Yakovlev Telegram-channel press-service of the party.

Also in conversation with RIA Novosti, he explained that while sitting in the car in front of the FSB, the detention was explained by the ban on public events in Moscow.

On Tuesday morning, the FSB detained the adviser of the General Director of "Rosatom" Ivan Safronov on suspicion of passing secret information about Russian military-technical cooperation and the defense industry one of the special services of NATO. As stated in the Russian Federal space Agency, work, Safronov was not admitted to the secret information, and his arrest is not related to the work in the Corporation. Prior to that, Safronov worked in Newspapers "Vedomosti" and "Kommersant", engaged in military and space themes. Previously, "Vedomosti" were demanding that all the circumstances of the case Safronov were considered impartially and with strict adherence to the law. In the publishing house "Kommersant" treason charges considered absurd, noting that Safronov was a true patriot, who wrote about the army and space.
