Able to finish the construction "Nord stream — 2" the barge out of the German port
The anchor lay barge "Fortuna", which can be used for the completion of the gas pipeline "Nord stream — 2", left from the German port of Mukran, it can be seen on the site for ship tracking Marine Traffic and Myshiptracking.
On Tuesday evening the ship came out of Mukran, logistic base "Nord stream 2", which holds pipes for construction of gas pipeline, and moved to the South-East.
On the eve of Denmark issued to the project operator Nord Stream AG 2 updated resolution on the construction of "Nord stream — 2" in its waters. Now companies can use vessels with dynamic positioning, but with the anchor, as subject to the completion of the pipeline route passes outside the area at risk of contact with buried at the bottom of the Baltic sea by chemical weapons. To work on the pipe laying can be back not earlier than 3 August, when completed the appeal period for this decision.
One of the ships that can complete the construction of the pipeline "Nord stream — 2", is an anchor the barge "Fortuna" of the company MRTS. The second candidate - laying vessel "Akademik Chersky" with a dynamic positioning system, which is also located in Mukran.
"Nord stream — 2" involves the construction of two pipelines from the coast of Russia through the Baltic sea to Germany. Against the project actively advocate USA, in the EU promoting its liquefied natural gas, as well as Ukraine and several European countries.
Work on laying of the pipeline was suspended after the United States at the end of last year took the defence budget. It includes sanctions against companies involved in the construction of "Nord stream — 2". So, the Swiss company Allseas, is engaged in pipeline installation, the work was stopped.
