Volodin assessed the prospects for abolition of roaming charges between Russia and Belarus
To come to a decision to abolish roaming charges between Russia and Belarus to the end of the year, said the Chairman of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin during the 58th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, which takes place in a videoconference mode.
"The Chairman of the state Duma said about the need to end on decision on the abolition of roaming charges between Russia and Belarus", - said the press service of the state Duma.
"The relevant ministries of our countries have achieved the convergence of all participants of the negotiations on the abolition of roaming in the territory of the Union state," - quoted Volodin in the message.
He also noted that before the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia has the task to harmonize legislations of the countries, the strengthening of the allied relations in the parliamentary dimension.
Earlier in the Belarusian Ministry of communications and Informatization has told RIA Novosti that Belarus, Russia still plans to abolish roaming charges in September, despite the situation with coronavirus COVID-19.
