In the state Duma has assessed the proposal on the introduction of peacekeepers, the OSCE in the Donbass
The introduction of peacekeepers, the OSCE in the Donbass in line with Minsk agreements and can be used as a military solution for the conflict in the South-East of Ukraine, told RIA Novosti member of the state Duma Committee on international Affairs Sergei Zheleznyak.
Kyiv is considering the possibility of introduction of peacekeepers, the OSCE in the Donbass, said Monday the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.
"Russia, as an OSCE member state, will not allow manipulation of Kiev, which under the guise of a peacekeeping mission to try once again to use force to resolve the conflict in the Donbas," - said Zheleznyak.
He added that Russia opposes any provocation of Kiev, contrary to the Minsk agreements, approved by resolution of the UN security Council.
"The conflict between Kiev and Donbass remains at the line of contact with Ukrainian troops and not on the border with our country. Russia will not allow the use of the peacekeeping powers of the OSCE to capture the Ukrainian authorities of Donbass", - said the Deputy.
According to Zheleznyak, the current leadership of Ukraine continues the line of the previous and with the consent of Washington and Brussels artificially keeps the tension in relations with Russia, creating a controversy around peacekeeping mission in the Donbass, urged to provide security of OSCE observers.
"For us, it remains clear that the transition to a peaceful and civilized process of settlement of relations between Ukraine and Donbas is possible only on the basis of the Minsk agreements", - said the MP.
In December 2019, the new Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, former permanent representative of the country at the UN Volodymyr Yelchenko said that Ukraine may be submitted to the Security Council the question of the peacekeeping mission in the Donbass.
