The airline Uzbekistan Airways on Sunday will take a special flight 61 Russian from Tashkent to Rostov-on-don, informed RIA Novosti the press service of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic.

The authorities of Uzbekistan from March 16, suspended transport links with other countries because of the threat of the spread of coronavirus. For foreign citizens and compatriots export arranges special flights home.

"A special flight of the airline Uzbekistan Airways took off on 5 July from Tashkent to Rostov-on-don 12.24 (10.24 GMT). On Board – 61 citizen of Russia and 27 foreign citizens", - said the representative of the Embassy.

According to the Embassy of the Russian Federation, to date, Charter flights home were removed about 3.6 thousand Russians. In March-June, the Charter flights of Aeroflot, Ural airlines and Uzbekistan Airways fly to Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-don and Saint Petersburg.

Flights to Russia will continue in the mode of export of flights for passengers from Russia set a mandatory 14-day quarantine. According to the Ministry of transport of Uzbekistan, July 6-19, nine will be organized Charter export flights from Russia.
