The head of Kuban Kondratyev filed papers for re-election for a new term

The current Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratyev has announced that it has filed krayizbirkom documents for participation in elections on a post of the head of the region.

Elections of the Governor of Kuban is scheduled for September 13, when the country planned a single day of voting. In early June United Russia declared that the Presidium of the General Council of the party has nominated Kondratieff for the nomination for the election of the head of region, regional branch of the party supported it at their conference.

"Today applied for registration of the candidate for Governor," wrote the head of the Kuban region in its channel in the Telegram.

According to the results of receiving the documents submitted by Kondratyev, he was given a written confirmation of receipt of documents on the nomination of, and permission to open a special election account for formation of election Fund of a candidate, said the election Commission of Krasnodar region.

According to the Commission, at present, notifications on the nomination of candidates for the post of head of the Krasnodar territory filed by four people: Alexander Safronov of the Communist party, Ivan Tetushkin from the liberal democratic party, Denis khmelevskoy from "Fair Russia" and Denis Deulin from the Party of social protection. The nomination of candidates for the post of the Governor of Kuban completed on 5 July at 18.00 GMT, the submission of documents for registration of candidates will be held till 18.00 MSK on July 29, noted on the website of the electoral Commission.

In late may, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he would support Kondratyev, if he will run for another term, noting that the final decision on this issue remains with the inhabitants of the region. The term Kondratieff expires in September 2020. He was appointed acting Governor of the Krasnodar territory in April 2015. In September 2015, Kondratiev won the presidential elections in the region, gaining 83,64% of the vote.

In a Single day of voting-2020 in Russia will take place elective campaigns of various level, including the election of 20 heads of subjects of Federation and elections of deputies of legislative bodies of state power in 11 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and also elections to the state Duma.
