In the Federation Council explained why the Crimea needs no recognition by Turkey
The Senator from the Crimean region, a member of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Sergei Tsekov said that Crimea does not need the recognition of their status in the Turkey as for the Crimeans, the most important recognition is the recognition and support of Russia.
Earlier, the Ukrainian media reported that the Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu said that his country supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, does not recognize and does not recognize "the illegal annexation of Crimea". According to him, this fundamental position will never change. The statement was made at a joint press conference with Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Coleby in the framework of his working visit to Turkey.

Crimeans are not interested in the recognition of other countries of the world community. Most importantly, the Crimea became an integral and natural part of the Russian Federation. For the Crimea the most important recognition is the recognition and support of Russia", - told RIA Novosti Tsekov.
According to him, sooner or later the international community will be forced to recognize the Crimea part of the Russian Federation, as it is an accomplished historical fact, which need to be considered.
Crimea became a Russian region after held there in March 2014 referendum in which an overwhelming majority of voters of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol voted for entry into structure of Russia. Crimean authorities held a referendum after a coup in Ukraine in February 2014. Ukraine still considers Crimea its but temporarily occupied territory. The Russian leadership has repeatedly stated that the inhabitants of Crimea democratically in full compliance with international law and the UN Charter voted for reunification with Russia. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Crimea issue "is closed permanently."
