Russia would develop inter-regional tourism routes
Representative institutions in 10 regions of Russia conducted an online meeting to discuss urgent issues of cooperation between regions, increase the counter of tourist traffic, the development of the original tourist routes and involvement in regional objects of cultural heritage, told RIA Novosti press-service of Committee on tourism of Moscow.
The event was a presentation of cultural-educational tourist project "the Kremlin routes."
"In the digital session, the presentation of the tourist project "the Kremlin routes", which is currently in development. The project aims to create an innovative cultural and educational product aimed at a wide audience of tourists. Its mission is the promotion of 12 Kremlin of Russia as objects of tourist interest and attraction of additional tourist traffic in the regions where a Kremlin complexes" - said in Mosturizm.
As told in the meeting, the authors of the project, a special historical value of the fortifications, their architectural richness and uniqueness will attract both Russians and foreign travelers.
It is noted that the first phase of the project scheduled a series of online events for the presentation of tourism potential of Kremlin complexes in such cities as Rostov, Kolomna, Astrakhan and others, including lectures, exhibitions, webinars, virtual tours. The second stage will be offline initiatives.
Their experience in the implementation of interregional programmes also shared the head of the regional projects of the Foundation "Elisabeth-sergievskoe educational society", curator of the tourist project "the Imperial route" Susanna Startseva.
The main objective of the project "Imperial route" — the revival of the foundations of historical-cultural and spiritual component of Russia, its achievements during the reign of the Romanov dynasty. This route will tell you about how the family lived the last Emperor, and includes 19 regions of Russia.
As noted by the head of Department of regional cooperation of ANO "Project office for the development of tourism and hospitality of Moscow" Maria Kiseleva, today, the regions were able to reach a qualitatively new level, in terms of infrastructure development, preservation and promotion of unique customs and cultural features, due to the restart of domestic tourism and the redistribution of tourist traffic.
According to Kiselyova, travelers can be difficult to navigate the wealth of tourist opportunities of Russia. This can help in inter-regional tourism programmes, such as the "Imperial route" and new project "the Kremlin routes" logically unifies different regions and cultural heritage of the country.
