Russian amphibian aircraft participated in extinguishing the fire in Turkey

Russian amphibian be-200 took part in extinguishing the fire at the fireworks factory in the Turkish province of Sakarya, told RIA Novosti member of the Board of Directors of the company-the operator of the aircraft SMS Savunma Sanayi Fizuli Mollaev.

Planes with Russian crews of four months will be on duty in the area of Antalya, Izmir and Bodrum. As previously reported by RIA Novosti Mollaev, Turkey is considering the purchase of leased Russian fire-fighting aircraft.

"Be-200 aircraft participated in extinguishing a large fire at the fireworks factory, which today watched the whole Turkey. The fire was successfully extinguished, but, unfortunately, not without casualties," - said the Agency interlocutor.

As previously reported by the Ministry of health of Turkey, the death toll in an explosion at a fireworks factory in the Turkish province of Sakarya on the North-West of the country has risen to four. The newspaper Hurriyet with reference to the head of the Ministry of health of Fahrettin Koju reported 114 victims.

The incident occurred Friday near the town of Hendek. According to the Governor of Sakarya chetina Octia of Kaldirim, at the time of the explosion at the factory was 150 to 200 employees, there was 110 tons of fireworks.
