The idea of the gift originated a year ago when the head of Sberbank has paid a working visit to Belarus and met with the Belarusian leader.

So I, honestly, am glad to our relations," - said the Belarusian leader.

He mentioned the situation with the criminal cases against former and current managers of the BGB, and contrasted it to the work of the group of Sberbank in Belarus. The state control Committee of the Republic said earlier that on the basis of BGB acted organized criminal group, the conclusion of money abroad. Were detained about 20 people, including the former head of the Bank, is now running for the presidency of the Republic Victor Babariko.

"And since we're banking this question suddenly arose, I begin to judge and compare. Recently, I have publicly said, that there are Russian banks that are honest and decent work", - Lukashenka stated.
