Putin complained about the ice cream "rainbow"
The head of the Union of women of Russia Ekaterina Lakhova complained to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the indirect influence of ice cream "rainbow" and multi-colored billboards on the children in terms of propaganda of non-traditional values.
The head of state on Friday met with members of the working group on preparation of amendments to the Constitution of Russia. Before the meeting, a decree was published about the entry from July 4 in force of the amendments voted by the majority of Russians.
In the course of communication Senator Alexei Pushkov drew attention of the Russian President posted on the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, the rainbow flag, which is the international symbol of the LGBT community. Putin said that in Russia, there will be no restrictions of religious, national and rights of sexual minorities and the law banning propaganda of homosexuality among minors was passed in order to avoid pressure on the children and the man who could determine their fate when they grow up.
Later in the meeting Lakhova told the President about ice cream "rainbow", which, in its opinion, may indirectly affect children. "You said that propaganda -- the propaganda, we are not supposed to be, but today we have billboards, for example, hang the rainbow - beautiful color... with beautiful words. Or advertise ice cream, which is called "rainbow". Therefore, this indirectly, but it does tend to get used to our children to... the flag that hung, including this Embassy. So I really wanted to still the values that we tried to put in our Constitution that they were in control, was the Commission", she said.
Putin, answering her, said that control over the promotion of non-traditional for Russia values it is necessary to build non-aggressive.
