In Rostov have detained the robber who robs a Bank with a dummy grenade

Investigators in Rostov-on-don have detained the robber, who, threatening with a grenade, stole from the Bank 1.5 million and 27 thousand dollars, said the official representative of the Russian Ministry of internal Affairs of Irina Volk.

Earlier on Wednesday, a source in law enforcement bodies reported to RIA Novosti that the robbery happened in a branch of Sberbank in the Voroshilov district of the city. Later in the press service of the South-Western Sberbank of Russia JSC, the Agency confirmed this information.

"Operatives of the criminal investigation Department of the Main Department of the MIA of Russia in the Rostov region together with colleagues from the police Department No. 1 Department of the MIA of Russia in the city Rostov-on-don arrested a suspect in a daring robbery at a Bank branch," said Wolf.

According to her, July 1, the attacker in the mask and gloves broke into the premises of the Bank on the Avenue of Cosmonauts and, threatening with a subject similar to a grenade, stole from the cash register more than 1.5 million rubles and about 27 thousand US dollars.

As reported by Wolf, less than a day managed to trace and arrest earlier not offender 43-the summer local resident suspected of committing a crime. It turned out that the man managed to spend part of the money to repay debt.

During the searches at the place of residence of the detainee seized a mask, gloves, dummy grenades and a revolver and some stolen money.

"The investigator of Department of police № 1 UMVD Russia on the city of Rostov-on-don has initiated a criminal case under paragraph "b" of part 4 of article 162 of the criminal code," added Wolf.
