Abkhazia suggested Mishustin open borders for tourists
The leadership of Abkhazia has written to the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin letter with the offer open from July 15 to the border for organized tourist groups, hoping for mutual understanding, said the President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania.

"It is a bilateral movement, to open the border unilaterally - it will do nothing, so we appealed to the leadership of the Russian Federation. Yesterday a letter was sent in the name of mister mishustina. And I think I have reason to believe that in this matter we will find mutual understanding," - said the President.
The President of Abkhazia said that the opening of the border on 15 July depends on two factors: the favourable epidemiological situation in the Krasnodar territory and the reaction of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation on the appeal of opening the border with Russia.
As said Bzhaniya, if the situation will improve, since August 1, the Republic will be able to open the border for individual tourism, for those who are planning to stay in private homes or with relatives.
