Vanino district court of Khabarovsk Krai under the claim of the Prosecutor ordered the "Port Vanino" which is engaged in coal operations, carry out measurements of the maximum permissible concentrations (MPC) of coal dust in the air and to enable monitoring for several other substances, reports the far Eastern transport Prosecutor's office.

It is noted that the basis for the appeal by the Prosecutor to the court was the results of verification of compliance with the stevedore of the legislation on sanitary-epidemiological welfare of the population in coal. It is established that "Port Vanino" not fully implemented the production control. Thus, the company has not conducted studies of atmospheric air on the contents of dust of coal and a number of harmful substances from production activities.

"The court has placed on JSC "Port Vanino" an obligation to perform in accordance with the schedule of the production control laboratory research of atmospheric air on the contents of the dust coal at the maximum single and daily average maximum permissible concentration, as well as harmful substances such as oxides and dioxides of nitrogen and sulfur on average daily concentrations in the zone of influence of emissions", - stated in the message.

It is noted that the appellate court the decision of the court of first instance upheld, and the complaint of the Respondent - without satisfaction. The court decision came into legal force, its actual execution is on control Vaninskoi transport Prosecutor's office.

Earlier it was reported that the residents of Vanino has repeatedly complained that coal dust from the terminal comes to the village and threaten the health.
