Seven people filed papers for the nomination of candidates for the post of Governor of Leningrad region, the message of election Commission of Irkutsk region.

Earlier, the candidature of Drozdenko has been chosen for the conference of the regional branch of the party "United Russia". Documents for nominating a candidate for the office of Governor of the Leningrad region were also submitted by: Alexander Kalinin (nominated by political party "Social protection"), Alexander Gabitov ("Civic platform"), Andrey Lebedev (LDPR), Valery Shinkarenko ("homeland"), Alexander Perminov ("Fair Russia").
"July 2, Vadim Grishkov submitted to the Election Commission of Leningrad oblast documents for nominating a candidate for the office of Governor of the Leningrad region. Lenoblispolkom issued VF Grishkova permission to open a special electoral account", - is spoken in the message of the electoral Commission on the social network "Vkontakte".
Grishkov was nominated for the position of Governor of the Leningrad region Communist party.
The stage of nomination of candidates for the position of Governor of the region ended on Thursday at 18.00 GMT. After the submission of the nomination documents can begin collecting signatures of deputies of representative bodies of municipal formations in support of the nomination of the candidate.
Elections of the Governor of Leningrad region will be held in a single voting day – September 13, 2020.
