Iran will consider requests from Venezuela for the supply of goods

Tehran will consider requests for the supply of goods to Venezuela, if Caracas will send a request in, told RIA Novosti the official representative of the government of Iran, Ali Rabia.

"If in the future the government and people of Venezuela are going to need products that Iran can provide them, we seriously consider this question. US threats will not affect the determination to implement a free and legitimate trade between the two countries," said Rabia.

Earlier, the US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said that the United States imposed sanctions against five captains of the Iranian tankers for the supply of fuel to Venezuela.

Previously in Venezuela from Iran arrived five tankers with fuel and equipment for the refinery. The official representative the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Iran Abbas Mousavi stated that Iran is ready to send to Venezuela additional goods raw materials and energy, if Caracas will ask about it.

In addition, Iran sent another ship to Venezuela, but with the food intended for the opening of the first Iranian supermarket in the country.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro had previously stated that he intends to soon visit Iran to sign a package of documents, including in the energy and military spheres.
