In the Kremlin commented on the incident with journalist Frankel

Journalists should be able to freely carry out its activities, respecting the norms of the current legislation, said press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov said that he was unaware of any additional orders of Russian President, aimed to address the Investigative Committee or the Ministry of internal Affairs on this matter.

"I don't know about any additional instructions of the President on this, especially since there is existing law on mass media, which actually regulates the mode of operation of the mass media", - said Peskov, noting that isolated incidents associated with journalists, of course, a matter of concern.

Earlier the journalist of "media zones" David Frankel said that the police damaged his hand at the polling station. The journalist claimed that he wrung his hand, and struck it with his fist.
