In the Yaroslavl region, the amendment was supported 68,29% of voters
Amendments to the Constitution supported 68,29% of the population of the Yaroslavl region, voted against 30,84% of voters, according to the regional election Commission, after processing 100% of protocols.
According oblizbirkoma, in the Yaroslavl region from 982 to 753 voters the decision on amendments to the Constitution was expressed by almost 56%. The amendment was voted 68,29% of voters, against 30,84%.
A nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation was scheduled for 22 April, but then postponed because of the epidemic of coronavirus in the country. Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on a new date for voting on 1 July. Because of the need to take into account the epidemiological situation and the security of the population, it was decided that the Russians will be able to vote all week from 25 June to 1 July.
