In Uzbekistan, the number of cases COVID-19 exceeded 8.9 thousand
The number of infected with the coronavirus in Uzbekistan over the past day has increased by 277 people and reached 8904, said on Thursday the press-service of the Ministry of health of the country.
In Uzbekistan on 15 March revealed the first Republic in the case COVID-19. By Wednesday morning the number of reported cases was 8627, 26 patients died, 5682 recovered.
For the last day also, there was one case of death of a patient with COVID-19, the total number of deaths from the pandemic in the country amounted to 27 people.
According to the health Ministry, the total number recovered from coronavirus in Uzbekistan increased to 5847. On Wednesday, the hospital was discharged 165 people Tuesday – 186, Monday – 167. Now on treatment there are 3030 patients with COVID-19, including 16 in serious condition, nine in critical.
Earlier, the President of the country Shavkat Mirziyoev said that the situation with the coronavirus in the country is becoming more complex, it is necessary to strengthen vigilance in the fight against the pandemic. Special Commission for combating coronavirus has decided, from 1 July ban to gather in groups of more than three people in public places in the regions with unfavorable conditions due to the COVID-19. In such regions will also be banned to go outside and into the yards of apartment buildings from 23.00 to 7.00 (from 21.00 to 5.00 GMT), with the exception of visiting pharmacies and hospitals in case of emergency.
The Uzbek authorities extended the quarantine in the Republic before August 1. All regions are divided into "zones" depending on the distribution COVID-19 - "red" most dangerous, "yellow" and "green", free of the virus. At the same quarantine conditions began to soften in late April: the population was allowed to walk near the house, for weddings and other celebrations, eased restrictions on the use of personal vehicles.
