"Huddled in a corner": Pushkov explained the weakness Zelensky
Senator Alexei Pushkov spoke about the prosecution of the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, noting the weakness of the current leader of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Senator believes that the indecision Zelensky demonstrate its inadequacy as policy.
Earlier in the court hearing on the election Poroshenko measure adjourned to the ex-President of Ukraine and his lawyers were able to see the updated petition on this issue and to prepare a defense. The prosecution asked the court instead of arrest to release former head of state under the personal obligation: that is, Poroshenko should come on the first call to the investigator and to the court, not to leave Kiev without permission, to refrain from communicating with other suspects or witnesses and to surrender passport to the investigator.
The state Bureau of investigation suspects Poroshenko that in 2018 he made holding then a post of the head of the foreign intelligence Service of Yegor God to appoint his Deputy Sergei Semochko — at that time head of the Kiev Department of the SBU. Poroshenko and his lawyers refused to accept a suspicion they think he tried to give illegal.
Semochko became the first Deputy head of the foreign intelligence Service in July 2018 and April 2019 Poroshenko dismissed him. Later Semochko appealed against this decree to the Supreme court.
