In the Vologda region, the turnout in the vote on the amendments made 49,71%

The turnout for voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation in Vologda region was 12.00 at 49,71%, informs regional election Committee.

Most actively voting residents of Nyuksenitsa (of 71.89%), Mezhdurechensk (70,86%), Ust-Cuban (70,59%) and Syamzhenskiy (70,41%) regions.

According to the materials of the regional electoral Commission, the turnout in the presidential election in 2018, for 12 hours was in the region of 25,43%.

A nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution was scheduled for 22 April, but then postponed due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the country. Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the vote will take place on 1 July. It was decided that in fact the citizens can vote for 7 days from 25 June to 1 July.
