E-voting is convenient for voters, and for him the future, said co-chair of the working group to discuss amendments to the Constitution, the head of the Federation Council Committee on constitutional legislation Andrey Klishas.

"It seems to me that, of course, electronic voting is the future. I think that the regions look at this experience and also draw their own conclusions. Of course, I think we have an example of a very good vote from the point of view of constructing this system for the convenience of man", - said Klishas to the information center of the CEC.

Online voting for amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation took place from 10.00 am on 25 June at 20.00 on June 30. To take part in it could the residents of two pilot regions - Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod region. Only electronic voting was registered 1 190 726.
