Austrian foreign Ministry warned against travel to the Western Balkans due COVID-19
The Austrian foreign Minister Alexander Shallenberg on Wednesday warned citizens against travel to countries of the Western Balkans due to the deteriorating situation there with the coronavirus.
We are talking about Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia, Serbia and breakaway Kosovo.
"From this point the warning of the highest level to travel to all six countries of the Western Balkans", - said Shallenberg at a press conference.
According to him, the situation with coronavirus in those countries in recent days has worsened. Also, according to the statement of the head of the Ministry of health of Austria Rudolf Unsober, in the Republic, alarmed by the increase in the number of new infections for the first time in many weeks for the day recorded a three-digit number of cases (107).
Austria has now lifted restrictions on the coronavirus study of 32 European countries except UK, Sweden and Portugal.
