In Lebanon began voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation

Site for voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation opened in the building of the Russian Embassy in Beirut at 8: 00 (coincides with Moscow), the correspondent of RIA Novosti.

The citizens began to arrive even before the opening of the polling station, room 8186.

The internal security of Lebanon at the request of the Embassy has sent additional personnel to guard and patrol the territory adjacent to the polling station.

Before opening dog handlers with dogs examined the territory. Till 20.00 at the building of the Embassy organized increased duty and protection.

Only officially in Lebanon on the consular account consist more than 1150 Russian citizens. According to unofficial data, there are 2-3 thousand Russian citizens.

A few days before the start of voting, consular Department of the Embassy and staff of the RCSC in Lebanon sent out a request for citizens on the schedule of the site indicating safety measures associated with the potential spread of the coronavirus, including technical breaks of 10-15 minutes for sanitization of premises where voting takes place.
