Pamfilova explained the high turnout in e-voting

High turnout for remote electronic voting on amendments to the Constitution due to the fact that it was recorded by those who consciously decided to vote, said the CEC Chairman, Ella Pamfilova.

Earlier, the CEC channel in the Telegram reported that the turnout for remote electronic voting, which ended on June 30 was 92%.

"This is the most motivated, active part of civil society. They are registered consciously, because consciously made the decision to vote, so such a high turnout," said Pamfilova, the TV channel "Russia 24".

Pamfilova added that the CEC will continue the work on implementation of electronic remote voting because he felt a great need for it.

Remote electronic voting for amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation took place from June 25 to June 30. To take part in it could the residents of two pilot regions - Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod region.
