Russian investigators opened a new criminal case against Ukrainian security forces from shelling in the Donbass, which was wounded a local resident, reported on the website of the RF IC.

It is established that on the evening of 29 June, the Ukrainian security forces fired on civilian infrastructure in the village of Frunze in Luhansk region, resulting in civilian born in 1998 injured by shrapnel.

"On this fact the main investigation Department of the IC of Russia opened a criminal case on the use in armed conflict of means and methods prohibited by an international Treaty of the Russian Federation, under part 1 of article 356 of the criminal code of Russian Federation", - stated in the message.

It is emphasized that such crimes have no limitation period, "and sooner or later the Investigative Committee evidence will be the subject of consideration by the courts before which are brought those who give and carry out criminal orders."
