Finland receives from the EU funds for the reception of minor refugees

Finland receives from the EU structures 12 million euros to receive 175 minors arriving in the country from the camps of the Mediterranean countries, said on Tuesday the interior Ministry of Finland.

As expected, 175 minor refugees in camps in Greece, Italy, Cyprus and Malta, will arrive in Finland in July.

"The Fund for asylum, migration and integration, the EU will provide financial support in the amount of 12 million euros for the reception of asylum-seekers from the Mediterranean region. EU support will cover the costs associated with moving 175 minors in Finland", - stated in the message.

Clarifies that the EU's support will cover costs for reception, accommodation and other services for asylum-seekers.
