Most Russians believe the development of street surveillance system, providing high level of security, the research showed the company "Delta security" at the disposal of RIA Novosti.

In the study, experts surveyed in June, more than 1.5 thousand people aged 18 to 65 years.

According to him, most Russians perceive the cameras as a necessity. "88% of respondents were in favor of large-scale outdoor video surveillance system, citing the increased level of security," the document says.

Negatively to the presence of video surveillance cameras on the streets, in the hallways and other public areas took slightly less than 6% of respondents.

"For ourselves, citizens willingly choose as a video camera, and the camera photographs – 49% of respondents are ready to install in your own home both kinds of observation, 28% prefer video, while 14% believe they need just a panic button. Almost half of respondents (45%) and is convinced that any estate should be protected with surveillance cameras," write the experts.
