The head of the CEC told about the dangers of cheating turnout
The CEC head Ella Pamfilova said that fighting with a wrap appearance, as it discreditied the voting procedure.
She recalled that the law governing the vote, there is no turnout.
She added that every day reminds the regions in the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the inadmissibility of artificial appearance.
"We're afraid of this (cheating turnout in the regions - ed.). I am afraid of this all the time with his hand trying to shake to this, it discreditied the voting procedure. I'm glad the President said. Every day I say this - remember what the President said?! No markups turnout should not be, no it is not necessary, it only hurts. Papelova hopes that the regions on the national ballot to drive up the turnout will not.
A nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation was scheduled for 22 April, but then postponed because of the epidemic of coronavirus in the country. Later, the President signed a decree on a new date for voting on 1 July. Because of the need to take into account the epidemiological situation and the security of the population, it was decided that the Russians will be able to vote all week from 25 June to 1 July.
