Pushkov commented on trump's words about "Russia, Obstanovka Obama"

Senator Alexei Pushkov commented on the publication "Politekspert" the statement by Donald trump to exclude Russia from the "Big vosmerki".

On the eve of the American leader in response to the call of the competitor in the presidential race, Joe Biden is not invited to Moscow for a G7 summit noted that the reason for its exclusion were the victories in the international arena. Trump said that Russian authorities "big beat" of the Obama administration.

According to Pushkov, an acute crisis in relations between Moscow and Washington emerged in 2013 due to disagreements on Syria. Another stumbling block was the situation in Ukraine in 2014.

The Senator noted that trump himself can not boast of successes on these fronts.

"Here, rather, talking about the fact that Russia continues to firmly uphold its national interests in relation to Ukraine and Syria. And the Obama administration, and the administration to trump us is not a decree. So I would somewhat equate their success from the point of view of influence on the foreign policy of Russia", — he said.

Pushkov also said the G7 is an outdated format.

"There's only US and their friends, nothing new going on there. Therefore, the topic of Russia's involvement – the only theme that animates the information field around the "Big seven". So they periodically throws her. I have a feeling that if they did not discuss the question of the return of Russia, all of the G7 simply be forgotten," he said.

Previously, Donald trump said he intends to invite to the G7 summit, four more countries: Russia, India, Australia and South Korea. Country-the participant refused to work in the format of "Big eight" after the return of Crimea to Russia in 2014.
