Employees of the interior Ministry of Abkhazia voted early for amendments to the Constitution

The Ministry of internal Affairs of Abkhazia early took part in the voting on the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the press service of the Ministry of the Republic.

The main day of voting regarding approval of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia will take place on 1 July at the premises of the consular Department of the Russian Embassy in Sukhum.

"At the initiative of Minister of internal Affairs Dmitry Dbar and coordination with the Russian Embassy in Abkhazia, the police prematurely voted for the approval of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation", - stated in the message.

As specifies the Ministry, in voting have taken part more than 700 employees of internal Affairs bodies.

A nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation was scheduled for 22 April, but then postponed due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the country. Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the vote will take place on 1 July.

Remote electronic voting for amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation is held from June 25 to June 30.
